Adams provides assist at Africa Cup of Nations

Kasim Adams got his Africa Cup of Nations campaign underway with a draw on Tuesday evening. The TSG star's Ghana side shared the spoils with Benin in a match that finished 2-2. It was Adams who provided the assist for his side's second goal of the match, scored by Jordan Ayew in the 42nd minute, which gave the Black Stars a temporary 2-1 lead. Next on the agenda for Ghana is their upcoming encounter with Cameroon, which will take place on Saturday at 19:00 CET. High praise for Hoffenheim's Ishak Belfodil, who features in eighth place in "kicker" magazine's "German Football Ranking List" for the position of striker and makes the "international class" category. No players made it into the "world-class" category. "kicker" named Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in top spot, followed by former TSG man Kevin Volland in second.
