TSG launch official secondary ticket market

TSG Hoffenheim now offers fans a platform to exchange tickets for home games.

All TSG Hoffenheim season ticket holders and buyers who have purchased a match ticket via the Online Ticket Shop may now sell their tickets via the TSG ticket exchange platform if they cannot make it to a home game. This will give other fans the chance to see the match live at the PreZero Arena.

"We're delighted to be supplying all TSG fans with an additional useful tool in the TSG ticket exchange platform. It gives every fan the opportunity to sell their ticket in a legal and serious manner in the event they can't see a game live at the PreZero Arena. Adhering to the DFL's financial fair play rules is the first priority here," said TSG's Head of Ticketing Thorsten Baller.

Here are the benefits of the TSG ticket exchange platform at a glance:

  • service-oriented and official secondary ticket market platform of TSG Hoffenheim
  • access to season ticket spaces or coveted price categories that we could otherwise not offer in the normal Online Shop
  • club-run and legal platform for the transfer and sale of season and day tickets that selling fans cannot use
  • the provider (seller) does not have to give up control of their season or day tickets
  • stable and fair prices for all TSG fans and no profit maximisation due to adherence to the DFL's fair play rules
  • tickets that are purchased via other platforms come with the risk of being fake, blocked or invalid

TSG Hoffenheim continue to take a consistent stance against the unauthorised trading of tickets. According to the GTTC of TSG Hoffenheim, both the public offering and commercial resale of tickets at excessive prices is forbidden and shall be met with punishment. Especially in the run-up to matches for which there is a strong demand, numerous tickets are put up for sale on various unauthorised ticket sales platforms (such as eBay or Viagogo for example) for prices which are in some cases excessive. TSG Hoffenheim has been pursuing these unauthorised ticket sales in cooperation with "Schütz Rechtsanwälte", based in Karlsruhe, since mid-2017 and will continue to pursue and punish the unauthorised ticket offerings and ticket sales.
