Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear fans, partners and friends of TSG Hoffenheim,

we wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope that you're able to use the winter break to get some downtime with your loved ones and recharge your batteries.

At this point, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank you on behalf of TSG Hoffenheim for your loyalty and support. Together, we can look back on an eventful and extremely successful year.

Our third-placed finish − the highest placement in the club's Bundesliga history  and the resulting qualification for the group stages of the Champions League for the first time made 2017/18 into an historic season. It was fitting that TSG Hoffenheim should mark its 10-year anniversary in the Bundesliga by cementing its place among the top 32 teams in Europe. We had some wonderful experiences in the elite continental competition, although in the end we didn't manage to achieve our ambitious sporting objectives. But our team did hit the headlines and make a name for itself by producing some entertaining performances on the international stage. Despite the demanding nature of the season, at the half-way point in the Bundesliga campaign we're on track to achieve our ambitious goals by the end of the season.

Now it's time to take a breather.

The Christmas period is a tranquil time that allows us to put the brakes on and get away from it all, to leave our everyday lives behind and to reflect on our experiences this year and the highs and lows.

We're already looking forward to 2019, as we're convinced that it'll be another good year for our TSG Hoffenheim.

We'll approach it with renewed energy, familiar strength and, above all, a sprit of solidarity, in order to ensure we again achieve great things on and off the pitch. "TSG is movement" – the guiding principle of our ambitious and aspiring future strategy says it all.

We'll be relying on your support again in 2019!

Kind regards,

The management of TSG Hoffenheim
