Bicakcic: "It was a real boxing match"
Steven Zuber: "In the first half we did very well at winning the ball and we had control of the match. We weren't playing as well by the end of the second half. I think that was partly down to the Champions League given that we were playing with a man down in that match. In future, I think we might need to figure out a better definition of when it's a handball and when it's not.''
Ermin Bicakcic: ''We put in a really solid performance on the whole. But I think you could tell that we'd played an intense match during the week and that as a result of that we weren't quite as polished as we would have liked to have been. In the second half it was a real boxing match. We were doing a really good job but then we go and concede a penalty. At the end of the day, given the way the match went, we aren't too unhappy with a draw, even if we were ultimately aiming to come away with more.''
Kerem Demirbay: ''That was a tough match. It wasn't easy. Now we have a couple of days off to recharge the batteries and have a look at what's to come.''
Julian Nagelsmann: ''I'm really happy with the first half. We did a good job of winning the ball, but we were just missing a goal to take the lead. Both teams seemed a bit tired in the second half. Schalke saw more of the ball and the game opened up. In the end the result is fair as Schalke were the better team in the second half. I'm happy and I'll take the point.''
Domenico Tedesco (FC Schalke 04 head coach): ''It was a very exciting match. TSG put us under a lot of pressure in the first 12 minutes. We weren't able to keep hold of the ball and suffered as a result. Then we got ourselves more and more into the game. Guido Burgstaller had a couple of good chances for us in the first half. We switched to three at the back in the second half as both of our central defenders had been booked.''
