"Our mentality is outstanding"

Here we bring you the reactions from the players and both coaches following TSG Hoffenheim's 3-1 victory over 1. FC Nuremberg.

Adam Szalai: "The victory was very important for us. We're just very happy and glad we managed to turn the game around. It shows that the mentality in the team is outstanding."

Reiss Nelson: "I'm very satisfied with my performances over the past few weeks. We played very slowly in the first 20 minutes, but we made a few changes at half-time and played better. I really like it at TSG and I'm happy."

Kevin Vogt: "Nuremberg were the better team in the first 25 minutes. They were much more dangerous and were first to the second balls. You need to show the right mentality on the pitch and we didn't do that quite so well towards the beginning. After going behind, we woke up and put them under considerable pressure even before half-time. Christian Mathenia made four very good saves. We were better tactically in the second half and all in all we deserved to win and by that margin."

Andrej Kramaric: "It wasn't so easy for us. We didn't start the match the way we'd hoped to. But in the second half things went better for us and we played our football."

Julian Nagelsmann: "There was a lot of relief after we equalised. We struggled to get into the game and were lucky it was only 1-0 to Nuremberg. We improved thereafter and absolutely deserved to win. It was a major advantage that we stayed calm. The team dealt really well with being behind and believed in themselves. We put them under a great deal of pressure in the second half; we played a lot down the flanks and that's how we created the goals. I'm very happy – our football was good tactically."

Michael Köllner (1. FC Nuremberg coach): "We were superb in the first half. After that you could see Hoffenheim's class. Hoffenheim played excellently in the second half. Every pass was inch-perfect. Christian Mathenia did his job very well for us today and made a lot of saves."
