Late leveller rescues point against Lyon

A late Joelinton leveller rescued a point for TSG Hoffenheim in a pulsating 3-3 (1-1) draw with Olympique Lyon on UEFA Champions League Matchday 3. Nico Schulz and Pavel Kaderabek continued at wing-back, while Florian Grillitsch and Kerem Demirbay formed the central midfield partnership. The other two changes came in attack, with Ishak Belfodil and Adam Szalai stepping in for Reiss Nelson and Joelinton. Andrej Kramaric was the other forward.

Julian Nagelsmann made his first substitution of the night on 61 minutes, introducing goalscorer Joelinton in place of Szalai. He was joined in attack by Reiss Nelson, who replaced Bicakcic, on 73 minutes. Steven Zuber came on for Belfodil seven minutes later.
