TSG drawn away to Leipzig in DFB Cup

Gina Lückenkemper, who conducted the draw, did not bring TSG Hoffenheim any luck. Julian Nagelsmann's charges will face a top-flight side in the DFB Cup Second Round for the third season in a row. They will square off against RB Leipzig at the second hurdle of the 2018/19 competition, having faced FC Cologne in 2016 and Werder Bremen in 2017. Hoffenheim overcame 1. FC Kaiserslautern by a 6-1 scoreline in the First Round. RB Leipzig will travel to the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena in the Bundesliga on Matchday 6 (29 September) a month before that DFB Cup clash.
