#SGETSG reaction: "A very interesting game"

Julian Nagelsmann: It was an interesting and very good game of football, a really good advert for the Bundesliga. We had chances to move closer to those top six places but at least we haven’t lost any ground today. We knew their biggest strength is in their defence. The plan was therefore to let them enjoy the ball and try and hit them on the counter attack. We had four good chances in that first half, and we had to take the lead. We did not let much get in behind us. They dropped deeper after the break and that made the game more open. Both teams had chances after that.

Niko Kovac (Trainer Eintracht Frankfurt): It was a great game with the right result at the end I think. We had more possession but Hoffenheim had the chances too. The way they close down, their pace and precision is fantastic. It was hard to defend against that but my team showed a lot of spirit to get the point. It looked good for the neutral and it was an advert for football.

Benjamin Hübner: It was very end to end in the second half. It was a fair battle. It was from my perspective an intense and interesting game. The draw is fair. Our position in the table has not changed and we still have a good chance of achieving our aims.

Serge Gnabry: I think we have dropped two points. We had a few chances on the break that we did not take. But we have more games to go and we want to score in them all. A lot is still possible.

Kerem Demirbay: Tow good teams went up against each other today. We had good chances in the first half to take the lead. The second half was more even because of their chances. It was a good game. It was possible to win today but I am just happy to be back after my injury and be back playing again.

Kevin Akpoguma: Those in the crowd saw a very good game between to teams playing to a very high level. It was very battle heavy and both teams were organized tactically very well. It was difficult to create chances so it was all about looking to utilize chances on the break. We had good chances in the first half but were unable to take the lead. It was far more even after the restart and 1-1 is a fair result.
