Mark Uth to transfer to Schalke 04 at the end of the season

Forward Mark Uth will leave Hoffenheim at the end of the current season and move to Schalke 04. Uth has made 72 appearances in competitive matches for TSG and has scored 28 goals in that time.

The left-footer moved from SC Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie to Hoffenheim in summer 2015. “I’m very thankful to TSG for the last few years. I got the chance to prove myself in one of the best leagues in the world here. However, I’d like to start a new chapter in my career this summer,” says Uth and adds: “I’ll give my all for TSG until the end of the season and I hope to be able to score lots of goals and contribute to the team’s success. We have ambitious goals and I fully stand behind them.”

Uth has scored nine Bundesliga goals so far this season and the Cologne-born player has also helped Hoffenheim in the Champions League playoffs and the Europa League.
