TSG celebrate first ever win in Bremen

Goals from Andrej Kramaric, Adam Szalai, Steven Zuber and Ermin Bicakcic secured TSG’s first ever win in Bremen in a thoroughly entertaining game of football. These four goalscorers provided a memorable 5-3 victory at the Weserstadion, as Hoffe remain in fourth place in the Bundesliga – level on points with BVB.

Personnel and tactics:

TSG had to do without the injured Benjamin Hübner, who picked up a knock in Dortmund. In his place in the back-three started Ermin Bicakcic, alongside Kevin Vogt and Niklas Süle. For the 33rd time this season, Oliver Baumann lined up between the sticks - the number 1 was also making his 100th Bundesliga appearance for TSG. Sebastian Rudy, Kerem Demirbay, Steven Zuber and Pavel Kaderabek were all deployed in midfield, as Mark Uth, Andrek Kramaric and Adam Szalai made up the attack.

After an hour, Nagelsmann brought on Jeremy Toljan for Süle. Two minutes later, Uth went off for Nadiem Amiri and TSG’s final change saw Szalai be replaced by Sandro Wagner.
