Goal & Victory for Amiri, Elyounoussi defeated

A host of TSG stars were in international action on Saturday - achtzehn99.de summarises the day's events for you here:

The Germany U19 side were first up. They kicked off against Ireland in Sandhausen at 12:00 CET. Nadiem Amiri completed the game for Markus Sorg's side and scored the opener. SC Freiburg's Jonas Föhrenbach scored late on to make it 3-2 to Germany.

On Tuesday (12:00 CEST) they face the Czech Republic in Walldorf. The aim is to finish top of the table as that ensures qualification to the European Championship. Only the seven group winners qualify for this summer's tournament, which takes place in Greece in July. The hosts qualify automatically.

Norway suffer a heavy defeat

Things don't go well for Tarik Elyounoussi. His Norway side were in European Championship qualifying action away to Croatia and had a tough evening in Zagreb. Elyounoussi, who was brought off after 80 minutes, hit the post in the 69th minute of the 5-1 defeat.

Brozovic, Wolfsburg's Perisic and Ivica Olic fired the hosts into a 3-0 lead. The Scandinavians improved once Corluka received a red card in the 74th minute. Tettey got one goal back for Norway in the 81st minute but Schildenfeld restored the three goal advantage shortly before the end of regulation time. Pranjic made it 5-1 in injury time.

Norway lie third in Group H. They are now four points behind Croatia, who top the table. Italy, who drew 2-2 in Bulgaria, are two points and one place ahead of Elyounoussi and Co.

Bosnia beat Andorra

Things went better for Bosnia. The team, led by new head coach Mehmed Baždarevic, won 3-0 in Andorra. Edin Dzeko scored all three goals. TSG defender Ermin Bicakcic was an unused subsitute. Sejad Salihovic, who was injured when he joined up with the side, was not included in the matchday squad.
