“Kaizer Chiefs are an extremely strong team”

At 19:30 CET on Friday evening, Hoffenheim will meet the South African table-toppers Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium. It's a special friendly, not only for TSG, and that was clear to see from the media attention at the press conference on Tuesday afternoon. Over 50 members of the press turned up at the home of the 2010 World Cup final.

On the panel alongside TSG's director of football Alexander Rosen was Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung.

Here is a brief look at the key statements:

Bobby Motaung on Hoffenheim staying in South Africa...

...”I'd like to thank TSG Hoffenheim and I am very happy that they chose to come to South Africa for their training camp. It is an honour for our whole country that a team of such magnitude chose to come here.”

Bobby Motaung on the importance of the game on Friday...

...“It is more than just a normal warm-up fixture for us. Our whole squad is available and we will put out our best team against Hoffenheim.”

Alexander Rosen on the opponents and the match...

...”We want to give the fans in the FNB-Stadium a really good game on Friday. Kaizer Chiefs are an extremely good and strong team to play against in a friendly.”

Alexander Rosen about training in South Africa...
