Markus Gisdol:We played well in both halves today. After making a good start to the first half, our levels dropped slightly when the half-time whistle was close. We corrected a few things during the break. We then took the lead, which obviously delighted us. We're happy with a point today, although the fact we conceded so late is annoying – especially as we only had ten men on the field at the time. Sejad Salihovic has a big, deep wound on his knee. There wasn't much we could do to help him recover at the time, so we had to withdraw him.

Dieter Hecking:Hoffenheim put us under huge amounts of pressure at the start of each half. We made a few tactical changes towards the end of the half which helped us gain a foothold in the game. We created a few chances during that spell but couldn't take any of them. Hoffenheim's goal was typical for that stage of the game – everything was a bit scrappy for a while. We knew that it was going to be difficult from then on as Hoffenheim are a very good team. I think a draw is a fair result based on the 90 minutes.
