Eintracht Frankfurt match reaction

Here is the match reaction following TSG's 0-0 draw with Frankfurt.

Markus Gisdol:The real sensation is the 0-0 draw. The first half was even, although Frankfurt had the better chances. We were in control of the game after the break. We also had the opportunities to win. It's a shame that we couldn't score the goal but we can be happy with the point.

Armin Veh:I'm satisfied with the point. We were compact defensively in the first half and had the better goalscoring opportunities. We could have taken the lead. Hoffenheim were the better team in the second 45. You can never really stop their attack fully. We were a little lucky.

Kai Herdling:We didn't get into the game in the first half. We were lacking bite and venom and our counterattacking play didn't work as well as usual. The second half was much better, but overall you have to say that we shifted gears too late on.

Andreas Beck:We didn't play as we had pictured it today, especially in the first half. We eventually had the chance to go in front at our feet with the penalty. Sure, Roberto missing the penalty is something that can happen, but in general, we didn't do enough with our chances.

Kevin Volland:We couldn't get a grip in the first half and we lacked organisation. We had enough chances after the break to decide the game in our favour. We weren't clinical enough in Eintracht's red zone. It's frustrating that we didn't win today.

Kevin Trapp:We had some big chances before the break but didn't take them. In the end, a point is obviously better than a defeat.
