Bayern Munich match reaction

Here is the match reaction following the TSG's 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich.

Markus Gisdol:At worst, you come here and lose and we have a lot of admiration for Bayern. But we wanted to test out how far we have come with our pressing game and looked to adopt an ‘extreme' playing style. So we pushed our two strikers as far forward as we could and put their centre backs under pressure. Of course, that's a big risk defensively. I'm very happy with how the team played. There was a phase where we couldn't get a grip on the game, but we found it again after half time. It's something very special for us to have scored three goals today and to get a point. It's a great day.

Josep Guardiola:Credit to Hoffenheim. They pressed very well in attack, but we always had a solution in the first half. They were very good after the break. We couldn't play our passing game. Now we have to analyse the match and switch our focus to Tuesday's game when we play Manchester United in the Champions League.

Jens Grahl:The draw feels like a win. With a little bit more luck we could have even put the icing on the cake and got a win. But we're definitely happy with a point. We started very well. During the interval, we swore to ourselves that we would come back and we managed to do it. We looked good at the back and in the end it's a deserved point. If you play like we did today in Munich, then it gives you a good feeling to take into the next games.

Eugen Polanski:We showed enough courage and took the game to Bayern. It wasn't the kind of match they are used to. That's why they had problems. Sali's goal was hugely important. We'd just lost our way a little before that. We were superb in the second half.

Kevin Volland:Getting a point against a team as strong as Bayern feels like a win. We had really good chances in the second half in particular and we were immense at the back. We can be pleased with our performances in this busy week of fixtures. Now we can play with freedom, we can have fun but we'll also give our all. Obviously we want to collect a few more points too.
