German Cup quarterfinal draw: TSG host VfL Wolfsburg
Germany women's national team manager Silvia Neid drew the German Cup quarterfinals on Sunday evening and gave Hoffenheim home advantage. TSG will welcome VfL Wolfsburg to the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena on either February 11th or 12th 2014. Wins against SG Aumund-Vegesack, Energie Cottbus and Schalke 04 have got Hoffenheim to this stage.
Reaction
Alexander Rosen: “We're delighted that we have the chance to play in front of our own fans. VfL Wolfsburg are very challenging opponents. However, we know how big a chance we have of reaching the semi-finals of the German Cup for the first time and we will do all we can to take that chance.”
Kevin Volland: “Wolfsburg are a top side, but they're not unbeatable. We're playing at home so we want to make the most of that advantage.”
