Greuther Fürth match reaction

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have found new spirit. After an away win against Greuther Fürth, they have closed in on Augsburg in the relegation play-off spot. Here is the match reaction.

Marco Kurz: The team performed well for 90 minutes. We applied pressure, created opportunities and took them when we needed to. It was a very important away win for us. I told the team that they have to work hard like they did against Bayern last week. I reiterated it at the break as well. The fans were a huge part of today's victory; they supported the team with a huge amount of passion. The team and I would like to thank them for that. We got three points but we're still in a direct relegation spot. We have to look for more wins now and keep working hard. It still isn't an ideal situation to be in.

Kevin Volland: It was by no means as easy as it looked. We got into the game very quickly and it was definitely a deserved victory for us.

Stephan Schröck: I feel for Fürth but when it's a case of eat or be eaten, I'd rather be the one eating. I'm delighted with the win.

Tobias Weis: We had a good game against Bayern but we lost. I think now we understand what we have to do in this relegation battle. We'll keep fighting until the end, just like today. We deserved the win.

Ludwig Preis: I'm very disappointed. We showed no courage and failed to keep our heads up after going 1-0 down. Of course it's difficult for us now. We were okay for the first ten minutes but then the team showed their bad side. There wasn't the same belief as there was in the previous two games. We have to congratulate our opponents on their deserved away win.
