Reaction to the game against Schalke

Markus Babbel: We came into the game well and created a lot of chances. I think 1-1 is a fair result, but I'm disappointed for my players that they were pegged back. They gave their all today, fought really well and played their hearts out. But unfortunately we've only come away from the match with a point, after we had opportunities to make it 2-0. The way the team played today is how we have to carry on, and how we will win games at home again. I was pleased with how we played. Schalke are a very tough opponent.

Huub Stevens: I'm disappointed with our first half performance. It wasn't a display that I would envisage from a Schalke team. In the second half we were better, but there was still something missing for me. However, after playing like that, we then came back and got an equaliser. In that sense I'm quite pleased.

Sven Schipplock: We were much better than them in the first half, but we didn't manage to get the second goal. Still, I think we can be pleased with a point against a team like Schalke. I'm delighted with how my first start for the club went, and I hope I can get more opportunities in the future.

Chinedu Obasi: It was a special game for me, coming back to Hoffenheim. I had some great years here. As for the game itself, a point is less that what we would have expected beforehand. But considering how the match developed, I think we can be satisfied with that.
