Mlapa to leave Hoffenheim

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim have agreed to allow striker Peniel Mlapa to leave the club this summer.

The German U21 forward has signed a deal until June 2016 with fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach. Mlapa still had a year to run on his deal with TSG. The details of the transfer have not been disclosed.

Born to Togolese parents, the 6'3'' in striker arrived in Sinsheim at the beginning of the 2010/11 season from 2. Bundesliga side TSV 1860 Munich. He scored a total of five goals in 54 Bundesliga appearances for the Sinsheim outfit.
