Marco Pezzaiuoli puts pen to paper on his new contract

Marco Pezzaiuoli finally put pen to paper on his new contract that sees him accept the role of head coach with 1899 Hoffenheim.

The only thing to change was his role at the club and the corresponding salary as his new contract runs until 30.06.2013, with the option of a one-year extension, just as his old one did. "We've been very impressed with Marco Pezzaiuoli. Despite the fact that the details were smoothed out days ago we're very happy to finally have the formal agreement completed and wish him all the best for his future with this club", stated manager Ernst Tanner. Marco Pezzaiuoli was also pleased with tout come of the contract discussion: "Even though it was just a formality, we still had to actually find the time to sit down quietly at a table and complete the process. I'm looking forward to this new challenge in my career. From now onwards I expect everyone to put all their energy into achieving the goals we have set for ourselves."
