All the reaction from the 1. FC Köln game

Hoffenheim and Köln shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw on Friday evening; here's what the main protagonists had to say.

Ralf Rangnick (1899 Hoffenheim manager)
In the first half we had no real grip on the game. We could be happy that it was only 1-0. Bringing Mlapa and Sigurdsson into the game gave us more of a physical edge. Had we played the whole game like we played in the first half, then we would have won. Against Mainz we will have to play like we did in the second half from the start.

Zvonomir Soldo (1. FC Köln manager)
We reacted well. I'm very happy with the first half, we had lots of chances. In the second half Hoffenheim took the ascendancy and got the equaliser. We continued to play our football though and still created possibilities for ourselves. We have to be happy with a point though because of our sloppy finishing.

Tom Starke
In the first half we played beneath ourselves, and we didn't do what we had set out to do. After the break tough we were able to apply more pressure and a draw was a fair result at the end.

Sejad Salihovic
The first half simply wasn't good enough, and we had a good discussion about our performance at half time. We were much better in the second half, and after the equaliser we could have even taken the lead. But the draw was a fair result.
