Hannover host 1899 Hoffenheim

Hannover 96 conceded a total of seven goals when they played Hoffenheim last season and on Saturday afternoon, there are more to follow hopefully. This is a very special game for Hoffenheim head coach Ralf Rangnick, not only is Hannover 96 a former club of his, it will also be the 200th game with Rangnick's participation as a coach. Rangnick has a total of four encounters with Hannover in the Bundesliga and so far he is unbeaten.

Stand-in coach Andreas Bergmann hopes to continue the teams upswing in front of the home-crowd. "It's a very important game for us. We are in a situation, where we should start to accumulate points," demanded Hannover's new head coach. "I hope to see one or two goals being scored," previewed Rangnick, whose team merely managed to score one goal so far this season. On Thursday, Luis Gustavo and Isaac Vorsah returned to the teams training session and do stand a chance of featuring in the squad on Saturday.

Solely Matthias Jaissle and Tobias Wies will not be available for Rangnick. The 1899-head coach does not expect to see any changes in the starting formation of the hosting team, after they captured their first victory of the season last weekend. Christian Eichner is aiming for a place in the starting line-up and seemed pleased with this weeks training effort: "We worked hard and focused this week and our last match seems to have given some players more self-confidence." Andreas Bergmann and Mario Eggimann are two former colleagues of Eichner from his time in Karlsruhe. "It's a dangerous situation for us in Hannover. The new coach has created a certain feeling of euphoria. But nonetheless, we should manage to obtain our first victory this season," explained Eichner who is still in regular contact with Eggimann. After last seasons furious 5-2 away victory in the AWD-Arena, fans expect an exciting game on Saturday. "We don't have to win with 5-2. I would be satisfied with a 1-0 or 2-1 result for us," said Eichner who desperately wants his team to capture the first three points of the season.

Hannover 96 have been experiencing a bad spell at home recently, having lost the last three matches there. 1899 Hoffenheim are keen to make it four on Saturday.
