Carlos Eduardo gets first call-up for Brazilian national team

Hoffenheim's Brazilian playmarker Carlos Eduardo has been called up to the Selecao for the first time. The 22-year-old was picked by Brazil national coach Carlos Dunga for the friendly matches against England (14th November in Doha/Qatar) and Oman (17th November in Muskat).

Eduardo was thrilled by the news: "I'm really ecstatic at the news! It's a big honour for me. I was always convinced that my moved to Germany and Hoffenheim in particular was the right on. First of all I need to concentrate on our upcoming matches against Koblenz and Freiburg, but the call-up for the national team is going to give me that added bit of confidence." Hoffenheim coach Ralf Rangnick was just as pleased for the Brazilian: "We're really happy for Carlos. He has developed superbly over the past few months and I hope this news will give him even more of a reason to perform in the Bundesliga."
